Police helicopter crash in Rio

RIO DE JANEIRO – Brazilian drug gang members crashed Saturday afternoon a police helicopter which caught fire in the center of conflict of two rival gangs. The aircraft crash killed two policemen and four were injured. The incident occurred just two weeks after the Rio de Janeiro chosen to host the Olympic games 2016th year.

The conflict has killed and ten members of the gang while two passers-by were injured. The helicopter crash occurred when the bullets fired in the Morro dos Macacos, North fourth Rio de Janeiro, broken formwork aircraft and the pilot hit in the leg while hovering above the village fighting.

Wounded the pilot lost control of the helicopter which is why there has been a fall. Two policemen were killed instantly while the pilot and three members of the police forces managed to escape from the helicopter after it crashed on the football field and caught fire.
The pilot and one of the officers suffered wounds from shots while the remaining two with burns from the fire.
Officials do not yet know whether the drug gang members intentionally shot the helicopter or aircraft to blame for the fall of stray bullets. This event was once again in the spotlight ever brought the issue of safety in the second largest Brazilian city.
